The Team Sunshine.co.uk drivers are Martyn Bell and Paul O’Neill, who is Sporty Spice's brother (she often turns up to watch her brother). Their car is the Honda Integra which Matt Neal used to successfully win the BTCC in both 2005 & 2006.
This package (which is per person) includes your entry ticket to race day on Sunday and will include a separate BTCC paddock pass if one is required.
You will be met inside the circuit when you arrive and will be taken ‘VIP style’ on a VIP paddock buggy to your hospitality.
Your hospitality will be with the Team Sunshine.co.uk in the actual BTCC Paddock. You will have your own table so you will be able to pop in and out all day using this as your base, where you will be able to relax and enjoy BTCC hospitality at its best.
This package includes a welcome breakfast, a cooked buffet lunch with vegetarian and healthy options, with afternoon tea and cakes later in the day. A selection of hot drinks, soft drinks and alcohol will also be available with your meal. Team sunshine.co.uk use top class caterers who also cater for the leading BTCC Team VXR – Vauxhall.
You will get to meet the Team Sunshine.co.uk race drivers, Martyn Bell & Paul O’Niell, and will be given a Q&A session where you will get the chance to ask all those race car related questions you have always wanted to ask etc… So start making your list now.
With our Team Sunshine VIP Package you will also be given a full garage tour of the BTCC race car in the teams pit lane garage. So make sure you bring your camera.
Anyone can watch the race from a track side grassy bank, but our Team Sunshine.co.uk VIP Package gives you the opportunity to be in the centre of the action and watch the race in the teams pit lane garage with the team, where you will get to experience the full octane-fuelled adrenalin of the BTCC as it happens. The pit garage will also have TV screens so you won’t miss any of the action on the track either.
With the Team Sunshine.co.uk VIP Package you also get the option to purchase a grandstand seat (not available at all circuits) where you will be able to watch all the racing action from the comfort of a grandstand seat.
The Team Sunshine.co.uk VIP Package also offers as an optional extra the chance to go onto the grid before the race (1 race only). This is definitely a ‘money can’t buy’ opportunity as you will be able to go onto the starting grid of a BTCC race (until 5 minute board) and witness the teams at work and have your photo taken with a grid girl. So again, make sure you bring you camera.
Having you photo taken next to a grid girl on the grid is not compulsory but is highly recommended as otherwise there no way you mates will ever believe you were actually on the BTCC grid before the race :o)
Please note that raceVIP grid walks are guaranteed. You are not picked from a hat. If you have bought a grid walk you will get a grid walk!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to race regulations, the option of going onto the grid is only available for those over the age of 16.
Every guest gets a raceVIP lanyard keeping all your tickets and passes safe while also including race timetable, circuit map and BTCC information.
And at the end of the day, while everyone is wearily walking back to their cars, you will be taken back in ‘VIP Style’ in the VIP Buggy to one of our collection & drop off points.
Every race day is different but below is a typical race day timetable. There is plenty to keep you busy! There are three action-packed BTCC races to watch (as well as the support races) so you really do get a full day's experience you get when you book with raceVIP.
09:00 – Collected VIP style on the raceVIP buggy and taken to the hospitality area for breakfast
10:00 – Driven round the paddock on VIP buggy to familiarise yourself where things are
11:00 – Grid Walks for Race 1 (as applicable)
11:30 – BTCC race 1 - watch from garage, grandstand or viewing point as applicable
12:00 – Dinner is served in the hospitality area
13:00 – Pit lane garage for garage tour of BTCC race car
14:00 – Grid Walks for Race 2 (as applicable)
14:30 – BTCC race 2 - watch from garage, grandstand or viewing point as applicable
15:00 – Afternoon tea and cakes in the hospitality area
15:30 – Drivers chat and autograph session in the hospitality area
16:00 – Grid Walks for Race 3 (as applicable)
16:30 – BTCC race 2 - watch from garage, grandstand or viewing point as applicable
17:30 – Driven back to the gate ‘VIP Style’ on raceVIP buggy
While all of this is going on you have the BTCC Paddock to explore and 5 support races to watch (Renault Clio Cup , Porsche Carrera Cup, Formula Renault UK, Ginetta Championship, Junior Ginetta)
At any point of the day your raceVIP host will also be on hand to answer any questions.
This is a fantastic day out and not only will you be able to see a full day of great racing, you will be based in the BTCC PADDOCK with full VIP hospitality where you will be looked after by and be the guest of the BTCC RACE TEAM.
