FAQs

How long is the VIP race day?

The BTCC is a full action packed race series so as well as the three main BTCC races, there are also the support races from Porsche, Renault & Ginetta etc… so it is a full day and you won’t be bored

What time do I have to be there?

We will contact you before the event with full details of times but on most race weekends you have to be there for 9am for breakfast and the day finishes around 5pm, depending on the circuit.

How do I get there?

We will send you directions when we send out the VIP passes, but we recommend you use a car to get there. Some circuits can get very busy so would also recommend leaving plenty of time for your journey.

What do I do when I get there?

When you arrive, park up and enter the circuit. Once inside the gate contact your host on the number in your pack and he or she will collect you in the VIP buggy and take you to your hospitality for breakfast.

What should I wear?

We would recommend something smart casual, but at the end of the day wear something you feel comfortable in. We would also recommend comfortable shoes. We also recommend that your clothing is not too heavily branded with another race teams logos.

Do I need to bring anything?

Apart from your passes and mobile phone to contact your host you don’t need to bring anything. Although we would recommend you check the weather forecast and bring a coat if you think it may rain.

Is there an age limit for your VIP Packages?

Our VIP packages are open to all ages, although you will have to 16 or over to be able to go onto the grid.

Can I go onto the grid?

If you select the Grid Walk option then you will be taken onto the grid before one of the BTCC races. But as mentioned above this is only available to guests who are 16 or over and are able to walk unaided.

How long will I be on the grid for?

This all depends on the circuit and if the day in running behind schedule as the organisers are tied because some of the races are live on TV (so you may get on TV) but it is usually around 5 minutes as you will go on before the 10 Minute board and will have to start making you way off the grid when the 5 Minute board is shown.

I am disabled and I have a wheelchair, will this be a problem?

Race circuits vary and some are better than others, but don’t worry your host will be on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly. You will be collected in a buggy and will be taken to the hospitality so there will be no walking.

Unfortunately wheelchairs are not allowed on the grid or pit lane, but other than that you will be fine. All we do ask though is that you let us know if any guests are in a wheelchair when you book so we can make sure your host and the team running the hospitality are aware. This way we can make sure everything runs smoothly for you.

What if I can’t make it on the day?

For whatever reason if you don’t turn up on the day we are not able to give refunds. If you can’t make it we would recommend you give it to a friend and tell him he owes you some drinks :o)

Do I need to bring any spending money?

All your food and drink in the Team Hospitality unit is included in your VIP package so you don’t need to bring any money. There is merchandise and stalls at most circuits so you may want to bring some money if you want to buy some merchandise etc…

Are your packages only for men?

Our packages are suitable for both men and women and from our experience our female guests have enjoyed the day just as much as the men, despite the fact circuits don’t have designer shoe stalls :o)

What happens if I order late and it’s too late to send tickets out?

Obviously we would recommend ordering as soon as possible to guarantee a place but if you happen to order last minute and it’s too late to send out tickets we will arrange our host to meet you outside the gate to give you your tickets. See, we think of everything :o)

Why don’t you have a land line number?

As we are at events quite a lot we have found that having a land line is not that practical, whereas with a mobile number you are able to contact us at all times. We also take our laptops everywhere we go so we are able to also answer emails when we are away.

Why do people put pineapple chunks on pizzas?

To be honest we have no idea why people think that pineapple chunks on a pizza is a good idea.
